Our ultra pure products with impurities down to “parts per million” (ppm) or even “parts per billion” (ppb) require comprehensive in house analytical capabilities. These methods are regularly cross-checked against standards and third party results.
The following methods are generally applied:
- Crude chemical assays:
classical wet analysis, atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS), inductively coupled plasma spectrometry (ICP).
- Trace determination:
glow discharge mass spectrometry VG 9000 (GDMS), wet trace analysis in clean room environment.
- Optical methods:
infrared spectroscopy, laser spectroscopy.
- Electrical methods:
resistivity, conductivity type, determination of other electrical properties.
