A total of 6 new apprentices started their training programme at Weser-Metall GmbH in Nordenham on September 1, 2018. The new trainees include two process engineers specializing in non-ferrous metallurgy, two industrial mechanics specializing in maintenance, one electronics technician specializing in industrial engineering and one chemical laboratory assistant.
In the first few weeks, the trainees are introduced to the working world of the lead works. A total of 27 trainees are currently employed at Weser-Metall. In addition, a further 18 young people are completing their training in the Verbund from other companies.
Weser-Metall provide training programmes in the following professions for the year 2019:
• Industrial mechanic/maintenance specialist (m/f/diverse)
• Process technologist for metal and non-ferrous metallurgy (m/f/diverse)
• Electronics technician/specialist in industrial engineering (m/f/diverse)
• Chemical Laboratory Assistant (m/f/diverse)
