Weser-Metall GmbH has recently hired a total of 6 new apprentices. On September 10, 2019, the new apprentices were welcomed into the company by the management, the HR and the works council.
Over the next three and a half years, these young people will receive a good and sound education at a high level.
Messrs. Umut Kahveci and Karim Zakaria are being trained as process technologists in metal, specializing in non-ferrous metallurgy in our company.
Mr. Ricco Schwingel and Mr. Sean Stindt are being trained as industrial mechanics specialists in the field of maintenance.
The apprenticeship of the electronics technician specializing in industrial engineering is learned by Mr. Kevin Dierks and the chemistry laboratory assistant is Ms. Aliya Candogan.
The apprentices first carried out a plant tour to get their first insights into the so-called “metallurgy”.
Afterwards, the apprentices were officially welcomed by the technical director (Dr. Ulrich Kerney), the HR manager (Ms. Claudia Theisen) and the works council chairman (Mr. Cebrail Demir).
